22 years after the events of Gadar, Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) are living a peaceful life in India with their son Jeete (Utkarsh Sharma).

However, their peace is shattered when Jeete is abducted and taken to Pakistan.

Tara Singh, determined to rescue his son, travels to Pakistan, where he discovers that Jeete is being held captive by General Hamid Iqbal (Manish Wadhwa), a Pakistani general who is seeking revenge for Tara Singh killing 40 of his soldiers during the climax sequence of the first film.

Tara Singh must now fight his way through the Pakistani army and rescue his son before it's too late.

Along the way, he is joined by a group of allies, including his old friend Gul Khan (Amit Sadh), and Kurban Khan (Mohnish Bahl), the owner of a hotel where Jeete is working as a waiter.

Tara Singh must also contend with the fact that Pakistan is on the verge of war with India, and that his actions could spark a conflict between the two nations.

In the end, Tara Singh succeeds in rescuing Jeete, but not before he has faced off against General Iqbal in a climactic showdown.

With the help of his allies, Tara Singh and Jeete manage to escape from Pakistan and return to India safely.
